By far the nicest air bnb I have ever booked, it was beyond clean and comfortable. The house was stocked with everything you need and more and the hosts were by far the best I’ve ever had using air bnb I highly recommend anyone wanting to stay in the Alton bay/ lake area that this is the place to book. Looking forward to going back for sure!

This is by far the most wonderful place I have ever stayed. The entirety of our stay felt like a dream. The kitchen is stocked with spices and supplies beyond anything one would normally expect - truly the perfect kitchen for anyone who loves to cook. The bird feeders around the property are strategically placed so we could watch them in the mornings and throughout the day. The property is not only beautiful but very private. It’s also so close to town center where you can find tons of activities, restaurants and a beautiful sense of community. I will be returning to Anne’s place every time I am back in the area. I couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else.
My husband and I spent a couple of days at the Lakeside Cottage and it was wonderful!! The host went above and beyond as did the owners who were all very nice! We docked our boat for a couple of days and the owners Kim and Al were so graciously waiting to help us get the boat situated! The cottage was lovely!! Super comfortable and we slept so well!! I loved the little personal touches - ! Also, loved the decorating style, very laid back and lake vibes! The screen porch with lake views - oh my..we loved sitting out and taking in the view. Can’t wait to visit again, this place was a gem - 5 stars!

Sleepers Island CabinGreat "cabin" which easily held our family of 6 adults and a child. Beautiful location, close to the marina so it is easy to reach with your own boat. The dock looks new and was very functional for our 20ft boat. A covered dock is so convenient, no need to cover up your boat with canvass if it rains. The walking paths on the island were a nice addition to the waterfront. Everything you could want in a lake vacation. A close ride to the floating restaurant at West Alton Marina entrance. Caught lots of fish right off the dock.
